1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using the Annsetu platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to farmers, cold storage owners, vendors, and logistics providers.

2. Description of Service

Annsetu is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform that:

• Connects farmers, cold storage owners, vendors, and logistics providers
• Facilitates transactions and supply chain coordination
• Provides real-time cold storage monitoring via IoT
• Processes payments between platform participants
• Tracks produce from farm to delivery

3. User Accounts and Registration

• You must be at least 18 years old and legally competent
• You must provide accurate registration information
• You are responsible for confidentiality of account credentials
• You must notify us of unauthorized account access
• We may verify information and suspend false accounts

4. User Roles and Responsibilities

4.1 Farmers

• Provide accurate produce information
• Liable for fraudulent or misrepresented information
• Comply with applicable quality and agricultural standards

4.2 Cold Storage Owners

• Maintain facility conditions according to specifications
• Maintain accurate inventory records and timely updates
• Liable for loss, damage, or spoilage of stored goods

4.3 Vendors and Buyers

• Place accurate orders and make payments
• Comply with transaction agreements and delivery terms

5. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Provide false, fraudulent, or misleading information
• Engage in unauthorized or illegal transactions
• Harass, threaten, or abuse platform users
• Hack, breach, or interfere with platform security
• Use the platform for money laundering or illegal activities
• Reverse-engineer or extract proprietary code or data
• Violate intellectual property rights
• Operate multiple fraudulent accounts

6. Payment and Transaction Terms

• All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless stated otherwise
• Users are responsible for applicable taxes, duties, and fees
• Payment processing is handled by secure third-party gateways
• Disputes must be reported within 7 days of the transaction
• Annsetu may charge a transaction commission/service fee

7. Limitation of Liability

• Services are provided as-is without warranties
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
• Annsetu is not liable for indirect or consequential damages
• Total liability is limited to amount paid in preceding 12 months
• Users assume platform-use risks, including potential loss of data

8. Intellectual Property Rights

All platform content, code, graphics, logos, and trademarks are exclusive property of Annsetu. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Annsetu from claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from violation of these terms or law.

10. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

10.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.

10.2 Dispute Resolution

• Parties will first attempt good-faith negotiation
• Unresolved disputes proceed to mediation under Indian law
• If needed, arbitration under Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996
• Arbitration in English in India by a single arbitrator

11. Account Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for:

• Violation of these Terms and Conditions
• Fraudulent or illegal activities
• Repeated breach of transaction agreements
• Regulatory non-compliance
• Violation of intellectual property or user safety standards

Upon termination, outstanding transactions are settled within 30 days. Appeals may be sent to support@annsetu.com.

12. Service Availability and Maintenance

We do not guarantee 100% uptime. Scheduled or emergency maintenance may temporarily affect availability.

13. Modifications to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after updates means acceptance of the modified Terms.

14. Severability

If any term is invalid or unenforceable, it is severed and the remaining provisions remain in effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement regarding platform use.

16. Compliance with Law

Users must comply with all applicable Indian laws, regulations, and export control rules. We may refuse service for non-compliant transactions.
